DaRuff has been making serious waves in the world of 2020’s JUNGLE and for good reason! ‘Emotions’ is a piano driven think break mind walk that is as easy to settle into as the softest lounger you’ve ever fallen back into… until the extended breakdown switch up that brings the storm clouds and gloom over which the second half’s amens run for cover!
On the flip ‘Memory’ sets the tone with a mixture of thoughtful sonics including heavily reverbed vocalizations and sparkling bells so high in the register they might as well be glass. Rolling amens flip and fall onto themselves like a cascade of snares flowing from a waterfall.
