We are proud to debut a new artist in the Tuff Love Dubs family – DaRuff!
DaRuff is a UK-based jungle and drum and bass producer whose journey into music has been shaped by his deep roots in Indian classical music. With over 20 years of experience playing the Tabla, DaRuff’s sound is rich in rhythm and precision. His love for jungle and drum and bass started at the age of 14 when he first heard “Helicopter” by Deep Blue. Growing up listening to hip hop and rap, DaRuff’s musical influences broadened, but it was during the 2020 lockdown
that his passion for jungle and drum and bass truly ignited.
His first rave experience at Rupture London in Bristol was a turning point, inspiring him to immerse himself in the underground sound. From that moment, he and a close-knit group of friends and family (Sharma da Charma, Doc Vin, P Beats and Nik) began discussing how to bring the raw energy of jungle back to Wolverhampton, UK, where it had once thrived. After much brainstorming, the collective ‘ORAJIN’ was born, with the goal of pushing forward the
jungle sound that inspired them.
In October 2023, DaRuff began his journey into DJing, and by December 2023, he had already moved into music production. In 2024, he produced a handful of tracks that caught the attention of Omni Music, leading to his first digital release, followed by a single release with Azterism Records. With several upcoming EPs slated for 2025, DaRuff’s production career is on the rise. He remains grateful for the ongoing support from his community, with special thanks to Asperatus, DJ Mafs, Rach & King Chugga of Unity Underground, Cash Bailey, and many others who have played a key role in his musical journey.
DaRuff continues to refine his craft, driven by a passion for bringing his sounds to the stage.
