Continuing the re-launch of STEPPING FORWARD in 2025, the enigmatic producer known as Secret Structures joins us for his debut on SLMG and Stepping Forward! While the man may be a new name to some he has been behind the scenes for over 20 years perfecting a unique sound of somber and soulful music under different aliases, spanning several genres. Sightings of of his works can be found on a growing roster of imprints including Force Recordings, Soul Deep, Offworld and now Stepping Forward Records!

Speaking with the man himself about these two songs, he had this to say; “For Gravity Waves and Slithering I didn’t go into the studio with any preconceived ideas. I prefer to start with a blank canvas both in the DAW and in idea and then let the music write itself. This approach can lead to many dead ends but also unexpected results and after a session or two I tend to get a solid idea if something is going to work out or not. In ‘Gravity Waves’ it was really the vocals that seemed to tie together a good collection of sounds. Slithering relies more heavily on groove and a balance.”
