Continuing the re-launch of STEPPING FORWARD in 2025, DaRuff joins the imprint with two songs that push our imprint further into the experimental DnB realm. Both ‘Mist’ & ‘Shimmering Peaks’ are adventures in polyrhythm, syncopation and layers upon layers of pads & strings all wound deftly between waterfalls of skittering breaks. Classic sounds familiar to “Jungle” lovers invite even the most road weary DnB listener in as DaRuff presents something refreshing in the form of his structures and ability to let the music roll on and on.
