Over the last year DAVR has become one of the driving forces of a new form of underground bass music: 100BPM! And in the spirit of his last release that featured Dubstep & 100BPM – he’s back with a 4 track multi-style sandwich of “Punchpacka” (Dubstep), “Moonrock Bounce” (100BPM), “Groovy Dealz” (100BPM), and “Battle” (Dubstep). Pulling some serious vibes from the urban funk of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, DAVR’s 100BPM reminds of 4-Hero’s classics and shades of the seminal “Scattered Snares” ‘Drumfunk’ concept album (for those that know).
